The animation was produced in collaboration with the Nature Friendly Farming Network in Northern Ireland with funding received from the Shared Island Civic Society Fund.
A new animation titled “Where Nature Knows No Borders” was launched at the Fields Good Festival on Saturday 6th September 2025.
Developed in collaboration with Farming for Nature and the Nature Friendly Farming Network, this creative project highlights how young farmers can play a vital role in shaping the future of farming by embracing practices that put nature at the heart of their work. This project was funded by the Shared Island Civic Society Fund, and we are grateful to our funders for their generous support.
- Inspire young farmers to adopt nature-friendly practices on their farms, demonstrate the economic benefits of doing so, and highlight the interconnected nature of our ecosystems.
- Demonstrate the power of peer support, encouraging farmers to learn from and lean on each other during the transition to more regenerative, sustainable ways of farming.
- Connect farmers to local networks that offer guidance, encouragement, and community as they adapt their farming systems, while also fostering cooperation among farmers across regions and throughout the island of Ireland
The launch at the Fields Good Festival brought together farmers, food producers, and the wider community to celebrate regenerative and nature-based farming. The animation was shared publicly online after the event, inviting young farmers across the island to join farming networks in their region and be part of the growing movement for nature-friendly farming. #
