It will feature talks and panel discussions on the topic of “Hedgerows Winning Climate & Biodiversity Battles”\, such as: \n\n\n\n\nHedgerow wildlife with local biodiversity experts.\n\n\n\nOverview of County Hedgerow Surveys with Flynn Furney Consultants.\n\n\n\nHedgerow translocation with contractors who have practical experience carrying this out in Ireland.\n\n\n\nMeasuring hedgerow carbon for Ireland’s National Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory with Dr Kevin Black.\n\n\n\nHedgerow management with Nigel Adams and other hedgerow specialists from Ireland\, England\, and the Netherlands.\n\n\n\n\nOn Saturday 5th October\, we welcome you to Milland House Stud near Monasterevin\, Co. Kildare for our annual All-Ireland Hedge Laying Championships! In addition to seeing competitors demonstrate best practices in hedge laying\, you can explore information stands and demonstrations of traditional crafts. We will hold hedgerow talks and be available for Q&A throughout the day.
