The Horse’s Mouth Mentorship

We are piloting a farmer-to-farmer knowledge sharing service to help guide what may be possible to improve the environmental conditional of a site and what practical actions to carry out.  This service is for farmers and landowners who want to enhance their biodiversity and want a fellow farmer to visit and explain how  and what they did in a similar situations.

You will need to fill out a short form and then if chosen from the application process will be paired with a Mentor – one of our Farming For Nature Ambassadors.  You pay a nominal fee and we pay the rest.   The Ambassador will visit your farm for a few hours and give practical suggestions on the habitats shown based on their own knowledge.

This pilot phase is open until the end of August 2022.

Building Up Nature – Ecologist visit

We are hoping to pilot an onsite ecologist advisory service that maps your farm’s habitats and then provides suggested actions that would hopefully improve the environmental conditional of a site and provide additional resources to help guide these actions.  This service is for farmers and landowners who want a more detailed direction on how to enhance their biodiversity and not sure how to proceed.

You will fill out a short form and then if chosen from the application process will be paired with our ecologist.  You pay a nominal fee and we pay the rest.   The ecologist will visit your farm for 2-3 hours and post visit will give a habitat map of what exists and practical suggestions on the habitats shown.

Hope to launch by November 2022.  Watch this space!  Or join our newsletter below so you will be notified when the application process is open.
